Gemini Cooperation Plans to Deploy More Ships
The Gemini Cooperation plays to release more vessels soon in an effort to help minimize occurrences of delays and misdirected cargo experienced by U.S. exporters, the Journal of Commerce reports.
While the new alliance is fully operational, they have only deployed 285 of the planned 340 vessels in their network.
Gemini Cooperation is a two-member alliance formed by Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd. Both ocean carriers left their respective former alliances at the start of February 2025. Click here for more information on ocean carriers and alliances.
